Using case studies, participants will construct a concept paper, which is an efficient way to develop ideas into a proposal. The core topic of this clinic is the concept paper, an efficient way to effectively develop ideas into a proposal. The content covers how to effectively survey scholarly sources for proposals, locate similar previously funded projects, create an effective team of experts for the project, and construct concept papers. We include tips on how to sell the project to campus decision makers.
In the interest of protecting participant intellectual property, we will not use participant projects and ideas within the clinic. At the conclusion of the clinic, if participants still have questions related to constructing their own concept paper, they are entitled to a one hour confidential consultation with F&A staff.
